My Story- P90X Recover faster

I have just begun ..well i have been doing the P90X workout for the last month. Apart from the fact that this is an awesome workout and is one of the best ways to get fit, healthy and strong in the fastest and easiest way. I found P90X on the web and bought it straight away i was impressed with all the youtube videos of people who completed this workout and found it a cheaper option then having a gym membership which i would probably never use and spend hundreds of dollars in a year on sitting at home.

The workout is cheesy and very American motivational ra ra, yet i find this incredibly fun and it really does push you to "Do your best and forget the rest!" You know that the work out works too as the first week or two you are in incredible pain all over your body but the fact that you only work one muscle group a day means that you can keep going and your muscle groups have all this time to rest which means they grow bigger and stronger in a shorter period than if you work it out every day. The trick to this method is that you must push it. Go full on hardcore each work out as you know that this will be the first and last time for that week. Of course it means pain is the game and mind over matter. It also means that you are pushing your bodies limits and need to make sure you fuel your body and give your body time to recover.

This is where the alkaline diet fits in. Our bodies are naturally alkaline. A body at its optimum and in its natural healing state has an alkaline ph. When we work out we create acid in our bodies, when we drink coffee, coke and eat fatty foods we create acid in our bodies. The more acid in our bodies the longer it takes to recover. The days after we work out we can be in immense muscular pain. This is all the acid still in our bodies and usually stays longer the less alkaline our diet is.

I learned about the alkaline diet and ways to recover faster through Tony Robbins. I have done P90X before and found that i was in a lot of pain so i stopped. This time i have been eating alkaline thanks to the alkaline cook book and I do a workout and the next day i am re born NO pain, i have flexibility and i am sleeping and recovering really well. I still have the ability to push it to the limits each day and am building up my energy and vitality rather than having to sleep longer or ignore work outs to be able to feel better and make it to the next one and "Bring it on!"
I drink green allkaline foods each day before and after the work out and try to each as much green alkaline foods with every meal. Not only do i feel awesome, i am enjoying the workouts pushing myself more and see the muscular growth faster. It is incredible!

The funny thing is with more research i found that a lot of athletes, body sculptors use the alkaline diet to keep their body in recovery and healing all the time. This has even greater importance if you are using recovery drinks, protein etc as this is all very acidic and although it is great and will help you grow muscle quicker too you need the alkaline diet even more! Remembering a body in acidic ph is dying, Cancer is acid, sickness is acid, healing, health , vitality, flexibility is alkaline!

I am amazed with how different i feel eating and living alkaline and attempting the P90X workout this time than when i did not have the diet and alkaline foods on my side. I recommend this to any athletes, gym junkies, health fanatics and not only that but anyone who wants to live a healthier, healing more vital life.
